Shannon Billiards 9-Ball League - Conditions

1. 28 Players - 27 Weeks played.

2. Each Player plays one match vs every other player.

3. Each Player is scheduled for one match per week.

4. A Schedule week begins on Sunday and ends the following Saturday.

5. Cost is $20 per player, per match.

6. Match is one race to 11.

7. Winner Break.

8. WPA 9-Ball Rules.

9. All matches must be played at Shannon Billiards.

10. It is the players responsibility to contact your weekly opponent to arrange a suitable time to play your match.

11. Every attempt should be made to play your weekly match at some point during the schedule week.

12. If you can not come to an agreement on a suitable match time with your opponent, or you can not reach your opponent, contact the league administrator who will assist in arrangments.

13. If you know ahead of time you will not be able to play a match in a given week, make arrangments with your opponent for an alternate time and let the league adminstrator know.

14. When playing your match at Shannon Billiards, first pay your $20 at the bar and obtain a scorecard.

15. At the conclusion of the match, indicate the match score and have both players sign the scorecard.  The scorecard must then be turned in at the bar by the match winner.

16. Year end standings will rank all players from 1st to 28th.  These rankings will be used to seed all players in year ending tournament.

17. Standings will be based on Matches Won.  First Tiebreaker, if needed, is Total Games Won.   Second Tiebreaker is Total Games Lost.  Third Tiebreaker is Head to Head Record.

18. Year ending torunament will be a true double knockout event (A side must be beaten two sets in the final).

19. Players will be initially seeded according to year end standings, with the highest seed facing the lowest seed, and so on (highest seeds will receive byes, if any)

20. In each subsequent round, players will be reseeded among the players advancing to the same round, with highest seed facing lowest seed.  This will be done on both the A and B side of the tournament chart.

21. The top 12 finishers at the year end tournament will be paid according to the payout chart below. ***

22. The remaining 16 players finishing out of the money will be randomly drawn into a single knockout second chance tournament where the top 4 finishers will be paid according to the payout chart below. ***

Tournament Payout Chart *** 1st  - $2000 2nd - $1600 3rd - $1400 4th - $1200 5th-6th - $1000 7th-8th - $800 9th-12th - $600

Second Chance Tournament Payout Chart *** 1st - $600 2nd - $400 3rd-4th - $200
