CSNS Snooker #2 took place at Century Snooker Club in New Glasgow on September 30. As usual, there was an Open Division that included all participants, and a AAA Division contested by all non-open ranked snooker players in attendance.
The Open Division fittingly came down to the only two Open class snooker players in the field. Club owner Bill Martin was successful over Dave Boudreau of Cape Breton 4 frames to 2. Semi-finalists were Peter Borden and Dale Brimicombe.
The AAA Division was won for the second event in a row by Dale Brimicombe, this time besting Lance Paul 3 frames to nil in the final.
The next Snooker event will be held in New Glasgow on Oct 28, with the Maritime Closed Snooker Championships being held the following weekend on Nov 3-5, also in New Glasgow.
