Wayne Warner successfully defended his Maritime Open title last night, besting Bill Martin in a hill-hill match decided by the black ball. Wayne battled his way through the field, defeating Richard Karis, Terry Devine and Jacques Cote on his way to the final. Bill Martin bettered Tony Siddall, Mike Nicksy and Brian White to reach the final. Bill went up 3-0 before Wayne started his comeback to tie 3-3. They split the next the frames to go 4-4 and set-up the decider.
Congratulation to Wayne on his repeat victory.
