The Maritime Closed Snooker Event was a great success with 20 participants coming out to Open Division.

In the Open division, the final 4 were all Open players. Billy Martin vs Wayne Warner to which Wayne won handily to head to the finals. The other Semi was Hugh MacEachern vs Bruce Lilly, this was a barn burner 5 1/2 hour long match in a race to 5 with Hughie taking the lead and Bruce fighting back to make it Hill Hill. It went right down to the wire with Bruce pulling off the win. The Final, Bruce again showed grit fighting back but Wayne was not to be denied and came out on top. Another title for Wayne!!! Wayne also won the high run prize from our sponsor HIGH LIFE and took an extra $40 home with a 56.
