Final Report for the 2025 Eastern Canadian Championships...
I am very proud to say that the Easterns, the crown jewel of Maritime billiards, is back. Based on the feedback received so far everyone had a great weekend. I want to thank all the players for showing us their support. Special thanks to our TDs Steve Cooper and Derek Peterson and all the volunteers that helped throughout the weekend. Also we have to thank the Saint John halls, Doolys(Drew LaPointe) and Shooters(Rob Connolly)... SJ is a great Billiards city.
We had 2 Official NBBA Raffle winners: Marco Ruest (Pool Cue) and Paul Raval (Predator Ball set). A 3rd raffle for the jump did not sell out therefore we couldn't draw a winner; we will sell the remaining tickets at our next ranking event. Thank you to all ticket buyers, this is the NBBA's main source of income and we greatly appreciate the support.
On a personal level I had a great weekend, didn't have a lot of time to relax, probably why I crashed last night on the couch at 8pm :)
And congrats to Peter Giles for having the shot of the weekend ( even though he didn't runout!!)
Can't wait for next year!!!
