64 players came to Dooly's Truro to test their skills in 8 ball Race to 4 all around. Time would show the cream floating to the top with a exciting final 16 player list.
This was a single knock out Race to 5. Departing in the first round were; Dave Boone, Peter Thompson, Justin D'Eon, Richard Young, Troy Richards, Craig Teal, Adam Cormier and Chris Penney. Second Round action saw Jheno Francisco fall 5-1 to Kyle Richard, Shane Crawford fell to Andrew Simon 5-2. Mike Eamon and Mitch Tucker were not able to mark a score.
Semi Final action saw Jody Swim take a commanding win over Kyle Richard 5-1. Christian Mantolino and Andrew Simon had a hill-hill battle with Andrew taking the win. The final match saw both players have the lead but in the end Andrew Simon was the winner 5-3.
In the 550 fargo and under 5 players tied and got $50.00 each. They are: Steve Blanchette, Cal Boudreau, Peter Ghiz, Brendan MacEachern and Travis Warren. In the under 450 Fargo Tracey Goodyear and Laurie Baker tied for first getting $100.00 each. Third was split between Matt Cox, Lynne Palmer, Jevon Buchi, Kevin Shannon and Sunshine Bernard who all got $10.00 each.
The 10 Ball Break contest drew in $1000.00 for the day which add to the pot gave a total of $120.00 a ball. Brian White was the lucky winner (ticket# 6473) and had a great break but finished with 2 balls pocketed for a total of $240.00.
ONLY 11 Tickets remain for the beautiful Predator cue and case.
CSNS would like to thank the management and staff at Dooly's Truro for hosting the event and of course to Brian McNamara for streaming the day. Thank you to all the executive and Directors for keeping the tournament running smoothly. Another successful event crafted with many hands.
