What a week! The Canadian Amateur Championships have concluded, after 5 long days (and nights) of competition.

Including the warm up doubles events, second chance tournaments, and the 4 main events - there was $33,500 given away in prize money!

Thank you for the Canadian Billiards & Snooker Association for accepting our bid and trusting West Side Charlie’s to host this event.

Thank you to the 3 host locations, West Side Charlies - Village Mall, West Side Charlie's Kenmount Road, and West Side Charlie's Torbay Road, who allowed us to take over their rooms, and for doing an excellent job taking care of the players.

Thank you to Ervin Mitchelmore, Walter Issacs, Elaina McDonald, Mike Smith, Tracy Parsons, Nicole, April, and all the other volunteers for giving up their time to help in every way they could to ensure everything went smoothly.

Thank you to Brittany "The Bombshell" Bryant for coming to the event as a spectator, and being so gracious taking pictures with the players and mingling with the fans. It was an honour to have you here. Good luck at the World Games in China this week!

And a huge thank you to all the players who participated, from all over the country, chasing their dream of becoming a Canadian champion.
