Brad Doyle Secures Open Snooker Ranking #1. Carl Marble Wins AAA Event.

Snooker Ranking # 1 of the 26/27 season is in the books. 14 players came to battle in the first of six ranking events this season.

The open event seen a strong field with 8 of the 14 participants being open players, Donnie Latter battled his way to the final with a 3-1 win over Carl Marble and a dominant 4-0 win over Brendan MacEachern to reach the final. Brad Doyle battled through the opposite side of the draw beating Bill Martin 3-1, Hugh MacEachern 3-0 and Pat Brake 4-1 before Putting on a dominant performance in a 4-0 win over Donnie Latter in the final.  Brad made the tournament high break of 51 in the first frame of the final.

The AAA draw seen 6 players competing with Carl Marble coming out on top of a long and hard fought battle in the final beat Mike Nicksy 3-2 after starting down 2-0 early on.

Les Dupuis Won the blue ball challenge draw and made 1 of 10 shots to win $21. The pot now sits at $19 per ball plus half the sales from the next tournament.
