2025 CSNS Straight Pool Provincial Championships summary.
A new record of 37 players showed up to try to earn the title of Provincial Straight Pool Champion. Thanks to everyone who came out to play and learn this great game. The races were 110 on the A side and 85 on the B side.
The final 2 players were Brian White and Wayne Warner. Wayne scored wins over Guy Tremblay and Bruce Lilly before suffering a loss to Chris Penney. He then went to work on the B side with victories over Jeremy Walsh, Guy Tremblay, Wayne Thibodeau, Chris Penney, and Kyle Richard to reach the finals. Brian White's path to the finals included wins over Saline Penney, Nick Villano, Kristin Mattatall, Mark Farrell, Wayne Thibodeau and Kyle Richard. The final match to 120 was very tense and close the whole way through. In the end Brian secured the title with a 120-110 scoreline to go undefeated!
Great shooting to both of you and to the rest of the top 8!
The "High Run" prize was shared with Brian White and Kyle Richard each scoring a 43.
