Connie Reid Runner-Up In Women's Standard 9-Ball Singles At 2026 ACS National Championships in Las Vegas

The 2026 ACS National Championships were held from May 9th to 16th at The Westgate Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, NV. There was a light contingent from Nova Scotia this year, but success on the tables was still achieved.
Connie Reid reached the final of the Women's Standard 9-Ball Division, earning runner-up position in the field of 19 ladies. 2nd place was worth $500 US.
There was more than one player to cash from the Reid household. Husband Darren Reid made $300 US finishing 9th-12th in Standard 8-Ball Singles out of 75 players.
Together the Reid's competed in the Standard Scotch Doubles division, placing out of the money rounds in 9th-12 place among 20 doubles teams.
Glenn Nickerson also competed in the ACS Championships this year. Glenn placed 13th-16th out of 35 players in the Advanced/Master 8-Ball Singles, and placed 17th-21st in the Advanced/Master 9-Ball Singles Division.
Bob Nesbitt entered the Super Senior 8-Ball Singles, ultimately finishing 9th-12th out of 27 competitors.
