Jacques Cote out played Brian White to earn his first Metro Open Snooker victory of the season. Cote downed White 4-1 in the final, demonstrating some excellent snooker play to keep White at bay. Cote reached the final with a 4-3 win over Bob Massia in the semi-fianls. White's semi-final win came over Darrell Abolit 4-1.
