Hugh MacEachern Wins His 4th Open Snooker Ranking Of 2025/26. Carl Marble Takes AAA Division.

On Saturday 21 March 2026 CSNS welcomed Brad Strong from Cape Breton to the OPEN rankings tournament and he started with his first match with a win in the OPEN Division.

Jacques Cote bested Brendan MacEachern 4-0 and Hugh MacEachern took the win over Bill Martin to get theirs seats in the Final. Straight forward match with both players mistakes being punished. Hugh MacEachern held on to get his 4th Ranking win in the 6 events.

On the AAA side we saw Mark Jordan get to the final with wins over David Strang, Tony Siddall and Archie Best. Newcomer Carl Marble booked his seat not giving up a frame in the previous matches. Carl carried this trend into the final with a 3-0 win over Mark.

Brendan MacEachern had his ticket drawn for the Blue Ball challenge but only managed to pocket 2balls in the 10 tries for a total of $54.00.

Thank you to Century Snooker Club and Billy Martinfor hosting the event. A big shout out to Brendan MacEachern for running the Blue Ball challenge while also helping to keep matches on track. The Record of 7-10 Blue balls potted is still held by Bruce Lilly.
