The Century Snooker Club were our hosts for the CSNS Predator Tour 5. This event was 8 ball and 42 entrants, a double knockout bracket was played down to a 16 player single knockout redraw(which had races to 5 throughout). In the 16 player single elimination redraw Shane Crawford made it to the finals by winning 5-3 against Nok Mantolino, 5-2 against Chris Penney and 5-3 against Bruce Lilly. Jody Swim made it to the finals by winning 5-2 against Milo Guevarra, 5-2 against John Baker and 5-3 against Christian Mantolino. In the final match, Jody Swim was able to take control early and cruised to a 5-0 win over Shane Crawford. Congratulations to all of the top finishers!

Payouts:

1st - $425 – Jody Swim

2nd - $320 – Shane Crawford

3/4 - $165 – Bruce Lilly and Christian Mantolino

5/8 - $110 – Kyle Richard, Peter Thompson, John Baker and Chris Penney

9/16 - $80 –Brian White, Nok Mantolino, Deryck White, Tony Siddall, Wek Augustine, Darrell Abolit, MIlo Guevarra, and Ricky Johnson

One of our favorite events, the 10-ball break contest was held just before the 16 player single elimination redraw. After all of the tickets were purchased the pot was up to $630/ball. DJ Coolen had his number drawn and had Dale Brimicombe break for him. However, Dale was unable to get a ball to drop so DJ was only able to collect the consolation prize of $125. The next 10 Ball break contest will likely be somewhere between $650 and $700 per ball!

We made a slight change to payouts for both of the fargo prizes. If someone has the 1st,2nd or 3rd position outright they will recieve the corresponding prize amount but if there are any ties the prize(s) will be split evenly.

550 and under Fargo payouts:

4 players tied so they split the total prize pool of $200 ($50 each)

Tom Mellen, Keith Surette, Liam Colligan and Mitch Rutherford

450 and under Fargo payouts:

4 players tied so they split the total prize pool of $200 ($50 each)

Sunshine Bernard, Lynne Palmer, Wilhelm Bolliq and Ryo Michibata

We also started our latest cue raffle, a Predator SP2 valued at $1450. We are selling 75 tickets and only have 23 tickets left now.

A huge thank you to Predator for their continued sponsorship of our tour. They are the biggest reason for our increased success lately. Thanks to Bill Martin and the staff at Century Snooker for hosting our event. Last but not least, thanks to Brian McNamara for the live stream coverage throughout the day.

The next event, ranking 6 (9 Ball) will be held at Dooly's Port Hawkesbury on 13 December!
