Tournament Bracket:

Saturday's amazing Metro Pool League 2 Pont Tournament at Portland St. Dooly's was a very big success, with 107 players coming to battle their way to first place to get into the money and the trophies 🙂 After Christian Mantolino was knocked out and took 4th place, the remaining three opponents continued the battles with Justin D'Eon who played amazing during the day ended with 3rd place and a cash payout with a beautiful plaque. The final 2 players came down to Nok Mantolino and Kyle Richard playing a true double knockout until after 1:00 AM, Nok got the first set and on to round 2 where Kyle Richard ended up taking first place, the cash and beautiful trophy, and Nok ended up with 2nd place, the cash and plaque. These two really played amazing and were live streamed on Brian's Cue Sport Streams.

Not only was this Event a huge day for the players, it was a very important day for Fund-Raising for Serena Burns Studley Family, the support from all of the players in the Tournament was just breath taking.......the pool community in this region is one big family who support each other in Crisis, and boy did you ever do that yesterday. I had a goal set on how much I thought I could help raise for our fallen player's family and this was so far exceeded by all the amazing people. And a big mention to Brian White who donated a beautiful cue to be auctioned off through selling tickets.

After selling almost one thousand 50/50 tickets, and ticket's for the donated cue, Derek Sloan donated his $25.00 winnings, and some money put in from dale B. and me, and the Metro Pool League Executives donating $500.00. The final total we raised for Serena's Family was $1,775.00, I was so happy to drop the money over to Kim Hobbs before her shift ended at Dooly's Burnside......and her message to everyone who supported and gave that day made a difference words cannot describe and the biggest "Thank You".

I would like to give a big shoutout to Tracey G, Melissa N. and their amazing staff for looking after us all day, and for tearing off almost 1000 tickets for the draw while I was selling and playing in the Tournament. My opponents were so accommodating waiting for me to get things done before our matches and thank you. Dale, B., Craig T., Glenn N. did an amazing job running this Event and so lucky to have them, amazing people and players. Brian M. did his magic with the stream and in between his games, his play by plays on the action.

Finally, to all of the players who came out to support the Tournament and the Fund-Raising for Serena's Family.....you all deserve a pat on the back for helping out and playing so well during the day 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 You are all amazing a huge thank you from my heart. 🙂

"One final note I forgot to mention in the post, Mike Weagle won the beautiful cue donated by The Billiard Shop for the Tournament and donated it back to be re-auctioned. Tickets will be sold at the Metro Pool League 1 Point Tournament to raise more money for Serena's Family....on behalf of my-self and the metro Pool League I would like to thank Mike for his act of kindness for doing this."
