Palmer Battles To Her First Women's Open Title At 2020 CSNS Women's Open 10-Ball Provincials

Lynne Palmer battled her way past a first round loss to capture her first CSNS Women’s Open Provincials, taking down Mary Anne Corkum 9-6 in the final of the 2020 Women’s Open 10-Ball Provincials. Palmer dropped her opening match to Tracey Goodyear, but regrouped herself to march through Salina-Luv Langford Penney , Lynanne Cutler, Melanie Hirtle, and avenging her previous loss to Goodyear by getting the best of her in the B-Side final. Corkum, getting to her first Women’s Open Provincial final, went previously undefeated on the day with wins over Leigh Ann Giles, Cutler, and Goodyear. Goodyear followed up her Provincial Women’s Open 8-Ball title in December with a solid third placing showing in this 10-Ball event. Palmer has earned the right to represent CSNS at the 2020 CBSA Nationals to be held later this year.
