Doolys Burnside played host to CSNS Predator Tour 7 (8-Ball) and 60 players turned out for the event. The field was whittled down from a double knockout to the final 16 players (8 from B side random drawn into the 8 A side winners). A few surprises and lots of tough hill-hill battles ensued and in the end it was Kyle Richard and Colin Maloney duking it out in a race to 7 final which also went the distance with Kyle squeaking out a 7-6 scoreline. Jeremy Walsh and Christopher Bright took semi-final honours.
There were also two second chance events with Peter Giles defeating Joshua Sepe in final of the 550 Fargo and under, while Matthew Cameron got by Tracey Goodyear in the 450 and under final. The 10-ball break contest was up to $260/ball and saw Bafex T-Main get his ticket drawn but a scratch on the break meant he had to settle for the consolation prize only.
Thanks to our title sponsor Predator for supplying equipment for the event, namely Arcos II balls and the new Predator racks. Many thanks to Doolys Burnside for hosting our event and to Brian McNamara & Brian's Cuesport Streams for providing live stream coverage during the day.
