The second stop of the Cue Sports Nova Scotia Junior 9-Ball Predator Tour rolled into the lively halls of Century Snooker Club in New Glasgow on Sunday afternoon, November 16, 2025. With 17 eager young competitors firing up their cues in a double-elimination showdown, the atmosphere was electric from the opening break. Every rack carried weight, and the youth competitors delivered a full day of grit, focus and high-quality shot-making.


Rising above an outstanding field, Silas Battiste captured 1st place, showcasing remarkable composure and precision throughout the day. Daniel Tremblay earned a well-deserved 2nd place, battling fiercely through tough matchups and demonstrating exceptional consistency. Claiming 3rd place, Xtian Herney impressed with sharp decision-making, strong table management and the kind of determination that signals a bright future in the sport.


Across the winners’ and losers’ brackets, the young athletes displayed maturity and sportsmanship well beyond their years. Every match delivered moments of brilliance, clever safeties, confident long-shots and steady nerves under pressure. The camaraderie among players and families created a positive atmosphere that showcased exactly what youth cue sports in Nova Scotia is all about.
