🎱 Nova Scotia Cup – Nine-Ball Team Event Recap 🎱

What an incredible weekend of pool at the Nova Scotia Cup!

We had eight strong teams, each made up of five players, battling it out in a race-to-6 team format. The competition was fierce from the start.

HRM Garbage Collection (John Newman, Adam Cormier, Colin MacDonald, Eric Bonneau, Gwisani Mavuma) dominated the A-side on day one, cruising through the bracket and locking in their spot in the finals early.

Over on the B-side, things got intense. Cluster Busters (Kayle Goodwin, Wayne Thibodeau, Jay Hanlon, Cory Fearon, Craig Teal) faced off against Hodge Podge (Christian Mantolino, Saline Penney, Chris Penney, Jody Swim, Nok Mantolino) in a tight, hard-fought match, with Hodge Podge edging out a 6–5 victory. That win sent them into the B-side final against Mikma'ki (Mike Basque, Clayton Dennis, Andrew Simon, Kevin Connors, Dana Murphy), where Hodge Podge kept the momentum going with a strong 6–2 win to punch their ticket to the finals.

The championship match didn’t disappoint. Hodge Podge came out firing, taking an early 4–2 lead. But HRM Garbage Collection dug deep and battled back, pushing the match all the way to hill-hill. In the end, HRM Garbage Collectors held their nerve and secured a thrilling 6–5 victory to take the title.

An amazing tournament from start to finish!
