Metro Pool League 1-Point Tournament Won By Bill Hiltz


Dooly’s Rockingham hosted the Metro Pool League 1-Point tournament on February 4, 2017. 77 players were on hand to attempt to earn this year’s title, and the winner’s share of the $1000 being added by the MPL. In addition, the league sponsor, The Billiard Shop, donates plenty of door prizes to go around, and the host location provides an afternoon meal for everyone to enjoy.

1st Place Bill Hiltz

Finishing in 1st place this year was Bill Hiltz of Dooly's Burnside ‘C’ team. Runner-up was Joe Lawson of Dooly’s Burnside ‘A’. 3rd Place went to Sheldon Barry of Dooly’s Sackville, and 4th place was earned by Norm Best of Dooly’s Burnside ‘C’. Finishing in a tie for 5th was Almon ‘B’ Tony Coles, and Dooly’s Sackville Ed O’Neil. Sherwin Cane of Dooly’s Sackville, and Joe Balliveau of Resolutes were in 7th place. The group placing in a tie for 9th included Bob O’Leary, Dooly’s Portland ‘B’; Randy Bourque, Dooly’s Rockingham ‘B’, Pat McNeil, Dooly’s Sackville; and Mike Deal, Dooly’s Burnside ‘C’. The final group placing in the money were Lorne Logan, Dooly’s Rockingham ‘A’; Mike Belliveau, Dooly’s Burnside ‘A’; Steve Hines Dooly’s Burnside ‘B’; and Dustin Reaney, Buddy’s.
