Ashley Denny Captures 2025 CSNS Women's Open 10-Ball Championship Over Gilda Saunders

The Women's division of the 2025 Provincial 10-Ball championships saw 15 players starting out the journey and the final would realize a new name on the champion's list as Ashley Denny defeated Gilda Saunders by a 7-5 score line. It was Gilda's second straight runner-up finish in the event. Ainsley Denny and Angie Kilbride finished third and fourth respectively. Incidentally, the women decided to keep all the entry fees as prize money instead of taking out the national sanction fee, as is usually done at the provincial events. After a discussion with tournament staff, the women took it upon themselves to do a 50/50 draw to try to raise some funds for the spot. Better than that, they raised over $300, which more than paid for the spot in its entirety. Well done, ladies!
