Shawn Fequet got the upper hand over Hugh MacEachern 4-1 in the final of Northern Open Snooker #3 held in New Glasgow on Nov 16. Fequet survived a first round nail-biter over Don Latter 4-3, and then dispatched Herb Watters 4-0 to reach the final. MacEachern first had to put aside his son Brendan 4-0 in round one, then storm past Bill Martin 4-1 to take his place in the final.
