Shawn Fequet fought his way to victory in the Northern AAA Snooker tour #5 Sunday with a close 3-2 decision over Archie Best. Fequet defeated Peter Borden 3-1 in the quarters and Hugh MacEachern 3-2 in the semi's along the way. Best, who played some very inspired snooker all day, defeated Bill Matheson 3-2 in the quarters and Brendon Duff 3-1 in the semi's to face off against Fequet in the finals. Fequet also had the tournament high run of 37.
