Johnny Newman finished 7th-8th in Tony's Billiards 620 & Under event in Guelph, ON. The event was a high stakes entry 9-Ball event for players with Fargo ratings of 620 or below. 39 players competed in the two day event, including fellow Nova Scotians Christian Mantolino and Jheno Francisco, who each placed 25th-32nd.
First and Second place were split by Andy Papazotos and Arjay Corpin, both of Ontario.
1st Place - Arjay Corpin $5600 + $3900 Calcutta
2nd Place - Andy Papazotos $3600 + $2500
3rd Place - Eduardo Doctora $2250 + $1550
4th Place - JC Gonzalvo $1000 + $2400
5th-6th Place - Junderson Gayas, Adam Roos $750 + $1750
7th-8th Place - John Newman, Rob Johnson $500 + $1250
