13 Snooker players sought out success at the first Metro Open Snooker event of the 2019/20 Cue Sports Nova Scotia season at Maritime Billiards in Dartmouth on Sept 29. Rick Leon laid claim to one of the finalist spots with match wins over Bruce Lilly, Jacques Cote, and Dale Brimicombe. The second finalist was Dave Boone, having defeated Ed Skinner and Brian White. The Final saw Leon toppling Boone 3 frames to 1 to win the event. White and Brimicombe were the semi-finalists.
