Hugh MacEachern avenged his loss a day earlier to Shawn Fequet in the Open snooker final, this time coming out on top 3-1 over Fequet in the final of the Northern AAA Snooker. This was the the third AAA event of the season, MacEachern having captured them all so far. Semi-finalists were Nick Kaiser, downed by Fequet 3-1, and Bill Matheson, who succumbed to MacEcahern 3-2.
