The 2024 edition of the provincial Women's Amateur 8-Ball championship is in the books and the turnout at Doolys Burnside in Dartmouth was fantastic. 18 women duked it out on the felt for cash, trophies and spots to the amateur nationals later this year (date and venue TBA at this time). Play ran through Saturday and saw 4 women returning on Sunday to complete the double knockout event.
Audrey Ozon continued her amazing run in the past year with a 6-4 victory over Gilda Saunders in the women's final. Audrey is now a triple crown winner as she currently holds the title in women's amateur 8- 9- and 10 ball provincials (the Audrey-slam!).
