Tournament Bracket:
Dominating! There is not much else that describes how Kyle Richard has been stunning the fields at CSNS ranking events this year, and before. Kyle won for the second time this year, and third time in the last 5 CSNS ranking events dating back to pre-COVId. He also has a 2nd place and 3rd place in the other two events over that span.
This time Kyle out dueled 39 other players at Doolys Port Hawkesbury.
Terry MacInnis shined in his hometown, reaching the final undefeated before succumbing to the Richard juggernaut. Prior to the final, MacInnis had been just as dominant.
Andrew Simon finished strong in 3rd place, his second podium appearance in the two events he has entered this season.
Neil Van Rossum had his best showing of the year, battling to a 4th place finish.
The rest of the money earners were:
5th-6th - Leon Sylliboy, Evan Paul
7th-8th - Ryan Kendall, Shawn Fequet
9th-12th - Bruce Lilly, Keir Sylliboy, Michael Basque and Craig Teal
Angie Kilbride won the women's-only second chance event, besting Ashley Denny in the final, among 8 women.
Jeremy Basque had his ticket drawn for the 10-ball break & run contest. Jeremy elected to have Michael Basque attempt the run out for $98 per ball. Mike potted the 1-Ball on the break and successfully ran out to the 8-ball to earn Jeremy and himself $784!
The next CSNS ranking event will be December 17th at Doolys Burnside.
CSNS will host the 2022 Open 9-Ball Provincials in New Glasgow November 26. And the 2022 Open 8-Ball Provincials in Sydney on December 10.
