Shawn Fequet scored a 4-1 win over Darrell Abolit to secure the AAA division of the Maritime Closed snooker tournament. Fequet now holds both Maritime AAA snooker titles, having won the Maritime Open earlier this spring. Ed Skinner and Brendon Duff tied for 3rd place.
Archie Best had a break of 44 in his first match, which held up as the tournament high run. There were 23 AAA competitors in the event.
